RECREATIONAL CLASSES: GRADED TECHNIQUE: CURRENT AND NEW TO LEVELS I-VII

GRADED TECHNIQUE 6 WEEK SUMMER SESSION LEVEL I-VII                               Week of June 19, 26, July 10, 17, 24, 31 (no classes will meet July 4) 
Fee Below. Summer Registration Fee for families not currently registered (2016/17).............................................................................................$10 
Please register for the Level that you will be going into in the Fall 2017. New students will be evaluated and placed in the correct level. Dress Code:  Classical Ballet Attire. 
*HIS Ensemble members must enroll in the summer session unless participating in an equivalent summer program

NEW! 3 DAY MASTER CLASS SERIES Level IV+.....................................................................................................................................$60 per session 
Introducing our new Master Class Series this summer with instruction from various dance professionals throughout the area. Stay in shape and/or prepare for summer intensives! Join us for one session or all classes.  Students will dance en pointe at teacher discretion during scheduled class times.   ​

ONE WEEK INTENSIVE (Current and New to Level IV+)

HIS Dance Summer Intensive guides students in their ballet technical skills with exposure to a variety of dance disciplines that compliment a ballet artist. Through technique, choreography, devotions and prayer we educate not just the dancer, but the whole person through the art of dance.  
The 2017 Intensive will be taught by Attila Mosolygo, (Ballet) current School Principal and Jr. Company Artistic Director with the Grand Rapids Ballet along with his wife Mindy Mosolygo, (Ballet) Grand Rapids Ballet School Curriculum Coordinator and Faculty Member. Modern will be taught by Amy Wilson, Artistic Director of Dance in the Annex and Faculty at MBA and BLFAC.  
Schedule: 
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 9:30-3:00 p.m.  
Friday 2:00-3:00 p.m. – Creative Worship  

Students should bring a lunch each day and a water bottle. Dress Code: Classical Ballet Attire  ​

RECREATIONAL Kingdom Camps: You are His chosen people, a royal Priesthood. 1Peter 2:9   Manners, scripture, dance and more will be taught during this 5 week session for ages 2-10+yrs. We will practice representing Him well as children of the King!  

Mommy & Me Ballet:  For ages 2-3 years.  Music, movement, balance, and basic dance steps are introduced in a fun, friendly and positive manner.  This class includes mom or dad or another loved one participating along with the little dancer.  Leotard and ballet shoes or comfortable clothing. 

Pre – Ballet:  For ages 3-5 years. This interactive class for every Prince and Princess in His Kingdom will engage the dancer's imagination, creativity and musicality. Students will begin to learn ballet exercises while emphasizing basic terminology. All students should wear leotard, tights and ballet shoes to class.  Boys: Black pant, white shirt. 

Ballet, Jazz & Modern/Contemporary: No experience necessary. All students should wear leotard, and tights to class.  Ballet shoes. Ballet/Jazz combo classes only need ballet shoes.  (Jazz shoes optional) Bare feet for contemporary.  Boys: Black pants, white shirt.  

Dance Sampler:   The Dance Sampler will include 2 weeks Ballet, 2 weeks Jazz, & 1 week Intro to Modern/Contemporary. No experience necessary to participate in these classes.  All students should wear leotard, tights and ballet shoes.  

Hip Hop, Tap:  Comfortable clothing, clean tennis shoes / tap shoes, no tummies exposed.
