H.I.S. Ensemble is the performing outreach division of Hearts In Step who go out into the community to make a difference through dance. Our students have an opportunity to be mentored and discipled by Godly role models as they dig deeper into God’s Word. Then in turn, they go out into the world and become disciples themselves.

H.I.S. Ensemble (Level II+) is ideal for serious dancers who are proficient in ballet and ministry-minded. These dedicated members are trained to minister in dance and testimony, bringing the arts to the community while leaving a life changing impression on the heart. Dancers will perform and minister in a mid-year production ranging from Bible stories, parables and original works under the collaborative artistic direction of Tassia Johnson and Hannah Ferianc. H.I.S. Ensemble may also participate in the all-school Spring Showcase as well the Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts. The intense training will help students who wish to grow to new heights in dance through outreach and performance. A minimum number of classes are required based on the Jr./Sr Ensemble levels. The 2011/12 Ensemble Production will be March 17, 2012
